The Open Air Theatre, 8th August 2018.

Join Lisnavagh House and Off the Ground Theatre this August, as they take you on one of the greatest voyages ever a tale was told of. Join Sinbad and the crew of the Menkar, as they seek for the legendary Solomon’s Reef, and with it all the lost treasures of the Earth. Be warned - it is said that only an honest man can reach the Reef, and this is Sinbad like you’ve never seen it before… Told through the ancient Arabic art of storytelling known as Hakawati, our heroes are shipwrecked on a whale, almost eaten by an ogre, attacked by giant birds of prey and captured by cannibals. It’s a true family adventure, and not one to miss. . This version of Sinbad is an original adaptation by novelist, and OTG graduate, Connor Wray. It is inspired by the original Sinbad stories from 1001 Arabian Nights, but has been updated to suit a modern audience, with a more forward-thinking moral driving the action. Picnic in one of the most beautiful gardens and enjoy a night of magical theatre under the stars. . Event date: Wednesday 8th August Event Time: 7:30PM to 9:30 PM (doors open at 6:30PM) Location: The Lawns at Lisnavagh House .
