We had the great pleasure of hosting our Styling Pilgrimage workshop in Lisnavagh. This is a workshop for wedding professionals from all over the world, and we had attendees from as far away as Moscow and Hawaii, many from continental Europe and across the United States. All were blown away with the beauty of Lisnavagh, and the incredible welcome and care they received from Emily and her staff.
From start to finish all our guests were treated more like family than patrons, with sumptuous meals lovingly prepared by Emily, fires blazing in every room, and a late night impromptu sing-song on our last night which carved a lasting memory for all. No request was too much (as outlandish as they may be from a bunch of event specialists!) and each and every one of us was part of the Bunbury family for our stay.
We have heard from our attendees, now dear friends, that they had an unparalleled experience at Lisnavagh, and some have even booked a return visit with their families. We ourselves can’t wait to visit again, hopefully to hold a beautiful wedding in the stunning gardens.
Sheena McDonald Murray, Pearl & Godiva
"We’ve had the last two office Christmas parties at Lisnavagh. Emily and William are exceptionally welcoming and accommodating. The house is beautiful and extremely comfortable. The gardens are stunning. But it’s Emily and William that really make the difference between Lisnavagh and other country houses in Ireland: not only do they make you feel very welcome but they also seem to really enjoy doing so."
"It felt, from start to finish, like a warm, generous, joyful, family gathering".
Ray Sheerin Managing Director
"Many thanks to you and Will and all concerned for making our first ‘works day out’ such a rip roaring success. You really get great weather down there in Co Carlow!
While the iron is hot please book us in provisionally for the same day next year"
Gabriel Dennison, Greenstar Ltd
"Thank you for all your hard work that you invested to ensure that our day was memorable at Lisnavagh"
